Honors Physics Assignments
2nd Semester, 2018
Welcome to the second semester in honors physics. We are first going to study momentum
and impulse, and the law of conservation of momentum.  Collisions are explored. We are then
leaving behind Newtonian motion problems, and going into areas of physics that are
fascinating and challenging.  We will first investigate the behavior of fluids and buoyancy,
then enter into the world of waves as it applies to electricity and optics.  Special theory of
relativity, some quantum mechanics, and more cosmology will also be covered.  This should
be an interesting semester.
